Terms of Service

2026-08-27

These terms govern bookings made through this storefront, which is operated on the TripHere platform by [PENDING: legal entity name and form] ("TripHere", "we"). The experiences offered here are provided by the partner business named at the bottom of this page (the "Partner").

Our role

TripHere is a booking intermediary. Your contract for the experience itself is concluded directly with the Partner, who is the merchant of record for your payment. We provide the booking technology, your ticket, and the safety-reporting channel described below.

Booking and payment

  • You select an experience, a time slot and tickets, and pay online. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
  • Your booking is confirmed when payment succeeds. You receive a confirmation email with your ticket; Stripe may also email a payment receipt from the Partner's Stripe account. Access to your booking works through the secure link in the confirmation email — no customer account exists, so keep the link private.
  • The conditions you saw when you started the booking (price, meeting point, duration, cancellation policy) are locked for that booking. Later changes by the Partner never silently alter what you agreed to.
  • All prices are shown in euros and include any applicable VAT, which is the responsibility of the Partner as the seller.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Each experience carries one of two cancellation policies, always shown before you pay:

  • No refunds — you cannot cancel after booking. You must explicitly confirm you understand this before payment.
  • Reschedule only — you may move your booking once to a different available time slot of the same experience. No refund is given.

Because experiences take place on a specific date, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right for online purchases does not apply to these bookings (Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU). Your other statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Changes or cancellation by the Partner

  • If the Partner cancels your booking, you always receive a full refund to your original payment method.
  • If the Partner proposes a change to your booking (for example a new meeting point or time), you may accept the updated terms or cancel for a full refund.
  • If a booking cannot be fulfilled at confirmation time, your payment is refunded in full automatically.
  • All refunds are full refunds; partial refunds are not offered. Refund timing after processing depends on your bank.

Reporting a problem

Every storefront carries a "Report an experience" channel in the footer and on the Help page. Reports go confidentially to the platform — not to the Partner — and may lead to a Partner being suspended or removed.

Liability and law

  • Delivery of the experience is the responsibility of the Partner. TripHere is responsible for the booking service it provides and does not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
  • These terms are governed by [PENDING: governing law and jurisdiction]. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Privacy Policy

[PENDING: legal entity name and form] is the data controller for the booking platform. The Partner is an independent controller for delivering the experience you book. Contact: [PENDING: support email].

What we collect, and why

  • Booking data: your name, email address, language preference, and the booking details (experience, date, tickets, amount paid). Legal basis: performance of the booking contract.
  • Invoice-request billing details: if you ask the Partner for an invoice, we collect the billing name, billing address, and optional tax identification number you enter, to relay them to the Partner. Legal basis: performance of the booking contract (handling your invoice request).
  • Booking-email recovery requests: if you cannot access the email used at checkout, we collect an email you can access now, the checkout customer name, activity date, exact EUR amount, payment-method category, optional booking reference, and language. TripHere platform staff use these factors only to assess booking-support and credential-security requests manually. Legal bases: performance of the booking service and our legitimate interest in protecting booking credentials. We do not collect payment-card details.
  • Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe; we never receive your card details. Stripe acts as its own controller for payment processing. We share your booking email address with Stripe so Stripe can email you a payment receipt from the Partner's Stripe account.
  • Operational logs (technical request data, error reports) kept briefly to run the service securely. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Cookies, accounts, and tracking

This storefront and the booking flow do not set TripHere platform-owned cookies and use no advertising or analytics trackers. To keep the site fast, TripHere collects anonymous, cookieless page-performance measurements (the page address with booking identifiers removed, and load-time metrics) through its hosting provider, Vercel; no cookies are set and no visitor is identified. When you reach the payable payment step, Stripe (which processes your payment as an independent controller) may set payment-security and fraud-prevention cookies—including cookies stored on this site solely for that payment-security purpose—required to complete the payment securely; TripHere does not use those cookies for advertising or analytics. There are no customer accounts; your booking is reachable only through the secure link in your confirmation email.

Who receives your data

  • The Partner receives the attendee details needed to deliver the experience (your name and booking details).
  • If you request an invoice, the Partner also receives the billing details you entered (billing name, billing address, optional tax id) together with your email address, so they can issue the invoice and reply to you directly.
  • Recovery factors are available only to authorized TripHere platform staff handling the request and are not exposed to the Partner through TripFabric.
  • Service providers processing data on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), MongoDB Atlas (database), Upstash (caching), Cloudflare (content delivery, images, and Turnstile anti-abuse verification on public report and booking-recovery forms), Resend (transactional email), Inngest (background jobs), Axiom and Sentry (operational logging and error monitoring).
  • Some providers process data outside the EEA under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention and your rights

  • Booking records are retained for the legally required commercial and tax periods; operational logs are short-lived.
  • Invoice-request billing details are retained for 24 months from the request and then anonymized.
  • Customer-submitted recovery factors are purged on the next daily retention run after 30 days from resolution or rejection, or after 30 days without progress for an active case. Staff actor and non-sensitive lifecycle records may remain under our audit and compliance posture.
  • You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing by emailing [PENDING: support email]. Erasure requests are handled individually through support.
  • You may lodge a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority.
